FAQs

what art do you create?

i am a mixed media storyteller, this means i tell my stories through a variety of mediums. this is mostly painting, drawing, printing and textiles.

What makes you different?

my creative processes and the way that i do business is with integrity and the highest standards. i believe that community accountability is crucial to what i do.

i bought a shirt and it hasn't come yet.

that’s okay, it’s called snail mail for a reason and i think that should be embraced. mail sometimes takes a little bit longer. i don’t mail via express post because it’s too expensive. also, t-shirts are hand printed in batches each week, it takes time to ensure the quality is very high. give it about two weeks.

I like your art, but some of it is expensive.

i get it, i don’t think i could personally buy my own art and that’s okay. i have taken measures, such as the art club to share my art more broadly. original artworks should be seen as an investment, because it is rare and meaningful and crafted with over 16 years of art experience and thousands of years of culture.

Why should i shop with you?

my processes and my artmaking is intentional, it is slower. this is a positive, it means work is meaningful and full of care and emotion.

Why do you draw and make art with scribbles/ messy look?

i was a perfectionist, guess i still am - and it caused problems, i couldn’t make art consistently. so, my way to fix that is to lean into who i am and what comes natural. that is to give myself the freedom to be messy and to make art that feels right.

I joined the snail mail club, when will i receive my print?

i send out prints at the end of each the month. if you would like to receive your print sooner, visit me at an upcoming stall and i might just have some available! in terms of waiting, i know it can be frustrating, but here, i like to adjust my mindset and instead think of the anticipation as something exciting.

why dont you use social media?

i believe in intentional growth, i don’t want my business to be affected by trends or fed into an AI model. i also despiseeeeeeeeeeeee social media. i will be upfront, moving away from social media has made artmaking achievable. if others want to do social media, great! but it’s not for me.
